We are thrilled to extend a warm invitation to colleagues from across Queensland engaged in women’s health research or affiliated with organizations dedicated to women’s health. We invite you to join us in sharing your expertise and insights to help identify key knowledge gaps in Women’s Health Research within Queensland.

Our invitation is open to clinician researchers, academic scholars, mid-career and early-career researchers, consumers, non-profit organizations, and Government Departments. We particularly welcome participation from rural and regional colleagues as well as Indigenous health researchers. We have dedicated speaking slots for mid-career and early-career researchers, encouraging abstract submissions. Additionally, there will be poster sessions during breaks for all attendees to showcase their work and foster networking opportunities.

The primary objective of this year's gathering is to spotlight the new Women’s and Girls Health Strategy for QLD and to pinpoint areas where research, interventions, and changes in clinical practice are imperative.

Our aim is to enhance research endeavours and professional growth in the realm of Women’s Health in Queensland. The core activities of the QLD Women’s Health Forum encompass:

  1. To discuss the QLD Women’s and Girls Health Strategy in relation to gaps in health care, areas needed for further evidence and research and approaches that organisations will take to address the strategy

  2. Facilitating networking and collaboration to bolster efforts to improve women’s health on a large scale, including nationally.

  3. Igniting collaborative research, translation, and impact in QLD and on a national level within the priority areas of the Women’s and Girls Health Strategy.

We look forward to your participation and contributions towards advancing Women’s Health Research in Queensland.
